The PUBG Mobile tournament in the SEA eSports Championship (EC) 2021 has ended. The result is Geek Fam Malaysia won SEA EC 2021 PUBG Mobile. As a result, 16 teams were entitled to qualify for the 2021 SEA EC Final Stage. Two teams representing Indonesia, namely Bonafide Esports and RRQ Ryu managed to qualify for the final round.
Ahead of the SEA Games 31 Hanoi, an esports tournament called the SEA eSports Championship (SEA EC) was held as a pre-tournament for the upcoming SEA Games 31 Hanoi.
There are 10 countries in the region of Southeast Asia that participated in the tournament which this year was held in Hanoi, Vietnam as the host.
There are 3 esports games that are competed in this tournament, namely PUBG Mobile, League of Legends: Wild Rift, and VALORANT.
In the PUBG Mobile tournament, 10 countries sent two representative teams each to play in the league round on January 3-5, 2022. A total of 20 participating teams divided into 3 match days played for 12 matches.
Geek Fam Malaysia Wins SEA EC 2021 PUBG Mobile
The SEA EC 2021 Final Stage took place on January 7-9, 2022 yesterday.. During the 3 days of the SEA EC 2021 PUBG Mobile Final Stage round, Geek Fam Malaysia managed to become the champion of this tournament.
Three match days Final Stage on January 7-9 played a total of 12 matches. Every day 4 matches are held.
The final result shows that Geek Fam managed to become the champion of this Southeast Asian tournament. The Malaysian team managed to collect a total of 175 points with one WWCD.
While the team from Thailand, The Infinity was runner up. They are in second place in the final standings with 161 points with 3 WWCD.
Eagle Esports is in third place with 157 points. The team from Vietnam also received 3 WWCDs during the three days of the Final Stage match.
FaZe Clan is in fourth place with 157 points. Meanwhile, D’Xavier, who played very well during PMGC 2021 League East, then finished fifth with 126 points.
Meanwhile, the two Indonesian representative teams did not have a very satisfying ending. RRQ Ryu finished in 9th position with 104 points.
While Bonafide Esports actually got smaller points, which was only 97 points and finished 11th in the final standings of the SEA EC 2021 Final Stage. Keep practicing, play wisely and don’t become a toxic player!
