Grimz Banned by PUBG Mobile, Can’t Play for 1 Year!
Actually the problem is a little strange. They don't cheat, cheat, or use 3rd parties. But Grimz's own problem .
PMCO is indeed an important event for many rookie teams. This is because the PMCO winners will be able to continue the competition to the next level. But unfortunately Grimz was banned by PUBG Mobile after having a problem at PMCO Spring Split 2021.
Actually the problem is a little strange. They don’t cheat, cheat, or use 3rd parties. But Grimz’s own problem was the faking of the identity of one of their players.
Yes, there are rules where to join PMCO you must be above the legal age. This is actually normal and applies to almost all popular esports. This is mandatory because the contract and the MoU require players who are above the legal age .
One of their players had this problem. It seems that after an investigation from PUBG Mobile, the player is still a minor. Grimz got into trouble because it was assumed to falsify the player’s identity when registering.
Grimz Banned By PUBG Mobile
This actually quite awaited by many people because they have a great chance of escaping. But when PMCO started, they were immediately disqualified by the parties concerned.
The player who was banned was Ziro, one of their players. While playing until the fifth map, apparently he was caught faking his identity. The players concerned are still minors and cannot actually participate in this tournament.
By breaking the rules of the PMCO, Grimz was punished. Disqualification from PMCO and the player and team concerned will be banned for one year from all official PUBG Mobile competitions.
That way they have to wait for next year to play again in official tournaments. It’s not clear if you can appeal again to reduce the sentence, but Grimz’s ban by PUBG Mobile is official.
