There is no doubt that MOBA is indeed the most favorite game genre today. Call it like the valor of LoL and DotA 2 in Europe, as well as Mobile Legends in Asia. Almost all competitive eSports in various parts of the world, placing their foothold on MOBA games. In terms of the game itself, there is indeed a significant difference.

Where LoL and DotA 2 in Europe, are games that require a device in the form of a PC. Meanwhile, Mobile Legends in Asia is a mobile game. It doesn’t just stop there, it seems that there are other significant differences from the game itself. Therefore, just take a look at the detailed discussion below!

MOBA Features

Broadly speaking, the most significant difference that appears is the features of the MOBA itself. If you examine Mobile Legends in particular, there are many various features that have not been implemented in Land of Dawn.

While on the other hand, LoL and DotA 2 are real examples of the complexity and great variety in terms of the objectivity of a MOBA. What are the MOBA features in question?

Wards

The wards feature is arguably one of the most popular features for MOBA genre games. In other words, not a MOBA if there are no Wards. The reason is, Wards itself functions as a vision opener so that players can obtain information about the condition of the map.

As we already know, that MOBA is identical to a map that is divided into 3 different lanes. Of course, this makes the existence of wards quite important.

Previously, Mobile Legends had provided a battle spell: scout which was very similar to the wards feature. However, because it seemed that players had difficulty using the scout, the battle spell was finally removed because it was considered inefficient.

In Mobile Legends itself until now, the existence of Wards is occupied by traps. Where traps are not like Wards which can be obtained through shop/item equipment, but only a few heroes with ‘special’ skills have traps. The heroes for example are Selena and Popol & Kupa.

Permanent Buff

The next feature that has not been implemented in Mobile Legends is the permanent Buff. Until now, Mobile Legends itself applies a Buff that has a duration. Buffs in Mobile Legends are also divided into purple buffs and orange buffs.

You can find permanent buffs in LoL. Where by eliminating a monster named Dragon, you get a permanent Buff. Functionally, the Buff will give you additional physical and magical lifesteal, movement speed, defense shield and others.

Creep Summon

Of course, if this feature is available in Mobile Legends, it will be a big breakthrough and bring massive changes in Land of Dawn.

Creep summon itself is a creep that can be controlled by players who have successfully eliminated the creep before. Then, players can call back the creep and help your team in doing a push tower.

With the presence of the creep summon feature in Mobile Legends, it will certainly make the Land of Dawn even more crowded in every team fight. In addition, the objectivity of the game is also becoming more and more complex.

Last Hit

The last hit feature itself is a feature that can be said to exist, but also does not exist in Mobile Legends. Because, the difference lies in the acquisition of gold. In LoL or DotA 2, a player will not get gold but only exp if he fails to make a last hit on a creep.

On the other hand, Mobile Legends has indeed adopted the concept, but not completely. In Land of Dawn, a player who fails to make a last hit still gets gold and experience.

However, if a player in the Land of Dawn is able to do a last hit, the gold he gets will be slightly larger than if he doesn’t do a last hit.

Jungle Position

The last feature is the jungle position of Mobile Legends. In LoL and DotA 2, the jungle position really has a big effect on the map itself. Like the term high ground which has also been popular in MLBB.

The placement of jungle positions in games other than MLBB, is clearly more complex and there are even high ground and low ground in the jungle and river areas. While MLBB, only on the turret inhibitor.

By design and appearance, LoL and DotA 2 also really treat high ground and low ground literally. Unlike the inhibitor turret which looks ‘parallel’ to the inner turret, outer turret, and even the river in the Land of Dawn.

That’s the discussion about some MOBA features that you can’t find in Mobile Legends. What do you think? Which feature is the most suitable for Moonton to adapt in the next patches? Keep practicing, play wisely and don’t become a toxic player!
