What is The Difference Between Free Fire (FF) and PUBG Lite?

Gameplay

By looking at the gameplay aspect of both games, there’s actually not that much of a difference. Both game has a low app size so the minimum space requirement is almost equally low. Free Fire’s app size is around 600 MB, while PUBG Mobile Lite is 500 MB. Both is capable to play even in low spec device.

Other than that, PUBG Mobile Lite is run with a game engine from Unreal Engine 4 that is compatible for low spec device. Meanwhile, Free Fire looks more flashy in the game because there are many characters with different skills that you can use to win the game.

Weaponry

After looking at the gameplay, now we will compare the weaponry aspect that both game has. In Free Fire, there are at least 18 different weapons that you can use in the game. Meanwhile, PUBG Mobile Lite has more weapon choice, with 25 different weapons in the game. In every update, there’s usually a new weapon releasing in each game, so this information is only temporary.

For PUBG Mobile Lite, the weapon is designed to have bigger damage on purpose. This is useful to make the game finish earlier. Meanwhile in Free Fire, the weapons depends on the character or the skin that you’re using. Other than that, the specification of the weapon seems fine and normal. But you can enhance the spec of the weapon by applying some skins on it.

Map

Free Fire has 2 map as of today, which is Mad Dog and Bermuda. Meanwhile, PUBG Lite only has 1 map which is Erangel. But Erangel can be played in two modes, which is casual and war.

Graphics

If you’re looking from the graphics aspect, Free Fire is actually better than PUBG Mobile Lite. It is true that both game has a small app size. But in PUBG Lite, there are no visible effect on the grass, water texture, hair, to the clothes detail. In Free Fire, some of the texture in the game has slightly better detail.

Specification

The next comparison is by looking at the specification and the minimun requirement of both games. PUBG Mobile Lite requires at least 1GB RAM, OS Android 4.3, and a free device storage of 500MB. Meanwhile, Free Fire requires at least 1GB RAM, OS Android 4.0 Ice Cream, and a free storage of 600MB.

Nowadays, most device has at least 2GB of RAM space. So it should be effortless for you to download these two games.
