PUBG Mobile provides one type of attachments that have a big impact on the performance of its weapons, these attachments are Muzzle.

There are two types of Muzzle that have a very far specification comparison, namely Compensator and Suppressor.

PUBG Mobile’s Muzzle Compensator and Suppressor, Which is the Best?

Muzzle Compensator and Suppressor

1. Difference between Muzzle Compensator and Suppressor

Compensators are more often used to reduce recoil on large damage weapons such as 7.62mm AR guns, DMR guns, and Sniper Bolt Action. Compensator is able to reduce 25% recoil pattern, 15% vertical recoil, and 10% horizontal recoil.

Whereas Suppressor is usually suitable for weapons that have low recoil. So that it doesn’t require  excessive effort  to withstand the shock when firing, Suppressor in its specifications can only reduce 5% recoil.

2. Strengths of Compensator and Suppressor

The compensator for the excess can reduce all the heavy recoil that comes out of the weapon. So that it makes weapons with low recoil even easier to control.

Suppressor has the advantage that it can easily hide the presence of a player who uses a suppressor weapon when they want to shoot secretly, this is because the Suppressor is able to reduce the sound of shooting from these weapons.

3. Disadvantages

You can find the disadvantages of Compensator from the advantages of the Suppressor, namely that the sparks and sounds from the weapons will be seen or heard clearly. So those of you who want to play secretly will find it difficult when using the Compensator.

While the shortcomings of the Suppressor can also be seen from the advantages possessed by the Compensator. It is difficult to control the recoil of weapons with large damage such as 7.62mm AR and DMR because their ability to reduce recoil is not very visible.

4. Recommended Use of Weapons

Weapons with large damage will automatically have a large recoil as well, such as the M762 Beryl, AKM, and all types of DMR and Sniper. Therefore, these weapons are suitable when “meeting” with the Muzzle Compensator.

Meanwhile, light damage weapons such as SMG and all AR weapons with 5.56mm shells produce recoil that is not too big, so it is suitable if you pair it with Suppressor.

However, we recommend using a Compensator on the 5.56mm AR gun if you want to use it as a medium to long range weapon.
